Understanding the Grace of God 2!

Ephesians 2:8-10   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. KJV

What is God’s Grace? The Strong’s Concordance definition is,

a) that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness:

b) good will, loving-kindness, favor of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

Notice there is nothing in this meaning that says it is unmerited favor- or undeserved favor- quite the contrary-

Grace is a gift- you cannot earn grace- it is a free will love offering from almighty God himself- through his son Jesus Christ!!

No where  in the scriptures can I find where it says that God thinks we don’t deserve this grace- How can anyone think that when you give a gift- – any of you give gifts to people you don’t think deserves it- a gift is simply that  a gift: something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation.

So stop being condemned to day and get rid of all that guilt- You deserve God’s grace!

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Romans 10:12
