Be Not Afraid, Only Believe!

In the book of Mark 5:22-24, the bible says, And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

Mark 5:35-36 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

Only Believe! Jarius came to Jesus believing that Jesus could heal His daughter- the news came – don’t trouble the master- she’s dead- Jesus immediately told him don’t give in to fear only believe-

Sometimes we get bad news- but God tells us from his word don’t fear!!! Only believe- or keep on believing!! God doesn’t change because of circumstances- The Lord doesn’t change just because you have bad news.

What was Jesus saying to Jarius – keep believing- Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing. Believing is also doing!! It is a walk of faith- for without faith you cannot please God-

The bible says in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith first begins by believing that God is!!! That God is real- if you doubt that you’re in trouble-

Secondly you must believe that He is a rewarder- of them that diligently seek him! The word rewarder means that God pays wages! Faith is always rewarded!!

Jesus went to Jarius’ house and took his daughter by the hand and miraculously healed her! Mark 5:41-43

So hang on to your faith in God no matter what and believe for the impossible to become possible! God Bless!
