How to Gain God’s Honor

Psalm 91:14-16   Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Is there anything you can think of that is better for your life than to gain God’s honor? To have the almighty God creator of heaven and earth honor you!

Yet the psalmist gives us the secret.  It is in the first verse, ” because he set his love upon me”.  To set your love upon God is to love, be attached to, long for, to be joined together. To adhere firmly and closely or loyally and unwaveringly to God.

If you will love God like this then you will gain His honor and no good thing will He with hold from you including deliverance from trouble, long life, salvation and best of all His honor!  God Bless!!
