Fear is not an Option

2Ti 1:7   For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

This passage is  a great fear killer!! I always thought that faith was the opposite of fear but in reality it’s courage. Note the Apostle mentions the remedy for fear is power first. That is the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. That power gives you courage and confidence to believe God to use your faith to change the circumstance!  The Holy Spirit always sheds God love in your heart. When you know that God loves you you can face anything and believe for the best!! And finally all this produces a sound mind which actually means self-control! Not a fearful mind or a mind that panics easily but a mind under control in peace depending on God.  When we are filled with the Holy Spirit then through His power we are in control. God Bless!!
